1. How Do I Maintain My Freshly Painted Surfaces?
We want to help you keep your newly painted spaces looking fantastic. For interior surfaces, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before hanging any pictures or frames or placing items on the walls 48 hours is even better to ensure everything is fully set. For exterior surfaces, we suggest giving it a similar gentle treatment Try to avoid any heavy contact or cleaning for the first couple of days so the paint can fully cure. These little steps will help keep your paint job looking fresh and flawless.
2. How Do I Choose The Right Paint Color?
To choose the right paint color, use the Paint Visualizer Tool from the yellow button after the Blog menu. Our tool has a friendly little painting man with a sprayer who greets you and cheers “Yay!” as you complete walls, plus a project summary and a paint calculator. You can also try the PPG Voice of Color tool below for another way to preview colors.
3. How Long Does A Typical Painting Project Take?
For a single interior room, we’re looking at about one to two days. And for bigger or exterior projects, it might take roughly three days up to a week depending on the house size.
